Birthday's are weird

9 November, 1976 @ 11:10pm. A momentous day in human history. That's right, MY BIRTHDAY!

Yes, I know if sounds conceited, but there are some things you need to know about this day:

  1. The Billboard #1 hit for this day was "Tonight's the Night" by Rod Stewart. Man was he ever right!
  2. The Berlin Wall fell on 9 November, 1989. What people don't know is that it was really to celebrate my birthday! OK... just kidding, but it's a marvelous coincidence!
  3. 9 November, 2016. My 40th birthday will not be marked by black balloons or tombstones proclaiming that I'm "Over the Hill" and getting older... but it will be a PARTY! I'm gonna have some real fun on this day!
But in all seriousness, this is a special day for me, even if I don't celebrate it with flourishes and fanfare. I'm 37 today. I'm still alive and I'm grateful for it.

Thank you to all for your birthday wishes!

Biometrics submitted...

I just got finished at the application support center in Birmingham, AL.  Piece of cake! I thought it was going to be an interview, but all it turned out to be was having my photo taken, my fingerprints scanned and my passport checked.
Now it's time to mail everything to Sheffield, UK for official processing.
I'M SO EXCITED!!!
